Can I add an image to the sidebar?

Hi,

Thanks for such an informative forum! I want to add two images to the sidebar on my site, right below my blogroll and a text widget that I inserted. How can I do this? Do I need to edit the sidebar.php file directly?

It's probably easiest to add them as a widget :)

Hmm, I'm logged into Dashboard and I don't see a widget that has an option to add an image. Can you tell me how to do this?

@meneldor: I think the text widget allows HTML input, and I'm sure you can put more than one text widget in the sidebar.

cmgray might have a much better way of course :)
