Categories in navigation (menu)

    Hey,
    I'm starter when it comes to Wordpress and I know nothing about PHP.
    Everything's all right for me with Thematic, but I don't need "Categories" as a widget in the right sidebar. I'd like to have it on the menu bar (looking like ordinary page), with categories listed on drop-down list (like children of "Categories" page).
    I hope I made myself clear (English isn't my native language).

    I didn't even know to editing of which file were you reffering to in this thread :)
    In the end I went the straight way of:
    http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/page-links-to/
