Thematic 0.9 http://www.summitarchitects.com/blog So I've created a child theme and edited the CSS. I don't have any custom functions but I do have a custom page template. I haven't edited the parent theme directly. The CSS stuff all works fine but my child pages don't drop down when the parent page is hovered over.
I have installed a variety of widgets - including exclude-pages, page-links-to, page-menu-editor, slayers-custom-widgets. Any help is appreciated.
Shoot, a follow up to this is that when I switch back to the Thematic theme the drop down menu works. What could it be in the CSS that would prevent the drop down menu from displaying? I beleieve that the only things I canged are the width of the menu and the hover color.
OK, having bothered y'all with it I figured it out. I had dueling versions of #access in Styles.css. One of them listed overflow:hidden. Once I deleted the second reference it worked fine.
I wish I'd thought to trouble shoot by switching back to Thematic before I made this post. There's nothing quite like narrowing the range of options for trouble shooting a problem.
