How to activate localization

    Hi,

    I've seen the .mo and .po files in the thematic/library folder. What do I have to do to active the sv_SE localization of the theme/child theme?

    Wordpress itself is allready set to use sv_SE in wp-config.php.

    Hey Björn .. and welcome on board,

    unfortunately we still do not have a Swedish language file for Thematic .. and I would be more than happy if you could help us with this.

    Thanks a lot!

    Download Poedit.

    And download thematic.pot.

    Open Poedit, File / New catalog from POT file, choose thematic.pot, choose language and country and two times utf-8 .. save as sv_SE.po .. Poedit will come up with a splitted screen on the left side the original text on the right side the translated text. On the bottom you'll find the marked original text and below you can enter the translation.

    Let me know if you have any problems. Keep in mind that the special characters should be translated using html entities HTML ISO-8859-1 Reference.
