On the pages (About, etc) the Category Menu doesn't show. Is this normal? Or have I messed something up?

Without the categories menu, my logo image is being raised behind my top menu, instead of showing as it is supposed to on the home page.
Any help is appreciated.

no .. this is by default.
You can display the category menu everywhere by changing two lines in your child theme's functions.php:
Change line 42 from:
function childtheme_category_menu() { if(!is_page()) { ?>to
function childtheme_category_menu() { ?>and line 51 from:
<?php } }to
<?php }Chris
